RELAXING RIVERSIDE
Immerse yourself in the calming ambiance of South Fork Spring River. Our campground offers riverfront campsites, allowing you to unwind to the gentle sounds of flowing water, create riverside memories, and watch stunning sunrises with a cup of coffee and a morning fire. Unlike neighboring Spring River, South Fork Spring River is much more remote and therefore much less populated. You'll find peace and quiet instead of crowds and noise. You'll find a “getaway” at South Fork much more enjoyable if a “getaway” is your goal.

Hardy's remote location provides an opportunity for some of the most spectacular stargazing, and Cedar Ridge is on the outskirts of tiny Hardy and Cherokee Village meaning even better star gazing. We are over a mile from the nearest gravel road and when the sun sets, our
campground comes alive with a dazzling display of stars. Bring your telescope, or simply lay back and enjoy the natural light show.
AROUND THE CAMPFIRE
What is it about staring at a campfire? All your friends and family gather around for some genuine conversation and laughs. Roast marshmallows, experience unplugged and true togetherness, share stories, and create cherished moments under the starry Arkansas skies. Firepits are available at each campsite for your convenience and common area firepits and seating are available to get a larger group together. Firewood is readily available.
Wildlife Encounters
Explore the rich biodiversity in the Arkansas Ozarks and South Fork River. Keep an eye out for the local wildlife, including deer, foxes, and a variety of bird species including bald eagles! Nature enthusiasts and photographers will find opportunities to capture the beauty of the region.

Cedar Ridge is a remote and intimate off-grid glamping experience. Located on nearly 20 acres of forested hillside with extensive riverfront on the South Fork Spring River. Immerse yourself in nature while also enjoying some creature comforts in one of our canvas bell tents or tiny homes that are fully furnished. Unwind on a front porch or kick back in a hammock and take a deep breath…..you can finally relax. All the fun of camping without the work or frustration. Take a hike down one of our nature trails, fish for smallmouth or perch, plan a kayak float trip on the South Fork Spring River, go for a swim, or enjoy some outdoor games on the lawn by the river.

We are definitely remote but also not far from historic downtown Hardy and Mammoth Springs. Whether you are shopping for antiques or the latest trends at one of the many boutiques. Grab a bite to eat at one of the restaurants in Hardy, Ash Flat, or Cherokee Village. Don't forget to stop in at the Hardy Sweet Shoppe for some sweet nostalgia. Visit Mammoth Springs State Park to learn about the source of the Spring River and one of the world’s largest springs. Known for excellent trout and walleye fishing year round, you can try your luck on Spring River in Hardy. If you are looking for more of a rush and intense float trip with more rapids, there are several outfitters located in Hardy as well.
Kayaking on the Southfork River
If you are looking for a calm relaxing float trip with gravel bars for swimming, South Fork is for you. Whether you're a novice or an experienced kayaker, our river provides the ideal setting for a relaxing excursion, a swim or some exciting fishing. Paddle at your own pace and uncover the hidden treasures of the riverbanks. South Fork is primarily rain fed but also has a few springs along the river. The river changes throughout the year meaning each time you float will be a little different than the time before. Its always an adventure.
KAYAK ANGLERS WELCOME
Cast your worries away as you cast your line into the South Fork Spring River. Fishing enthusiasts will find a haven of opportunity here. With an abundance of smallmouth bass and other native species, you're bound to reel in the catch of the day. Create lasting memories and tales with each tug on the line.

Good Times Glampers
This dual canvas wall tent glampsite is secluded in the woods for a quiet and private glamping experience. Perfect for a family or a small group of friends. Both safari tents are each equipped with a covered deck, queen size bed, cot (if needed), outdoor kitchenette stocked with cooking & grilling gear, utensils, plates, bowls, drinkware, kettle, French press, single burner cook stove, gravity fed outdoor sink, fire pit & chairs, and two hammocks. Located at the top of the hill in the woods. The river can be accessed by walking trail or 4WD. An off-grid bathhouse with 2 private baths is just steps away with a hot shower.

Sweet Afton
This completely off-grid tiny home has a full size bed with a sleeper love seat. Kitchenette is stocked with a Keurig coffee maker and coffee, microwave, mini-fridge, Coleman single burner cook stove, gravity fed sink, cookware, cutting board, utensils, grilling utensils, plates, bowls, drinkware, towels & linens, 4 Adirondack chairs, picnic table, charcoal grill, gravity fed sink, firepit, solar powered, A/C, heated. It has its own personal half bath and is only steps away from the bathhouse that has 2 private baths with hot showers. The river is accessible by trail or 4WD. This unit is isolated and is the best unit for dark sky stargazing.

An off-grid bathhouse with 2 private baths is just steps away with a hot shower.

This very secluded canvas wall tent is near the top of the hill at Cedar Ridge with a large covered front deck. Queen size bed, outdoor kitchenette stocked with cooking & grilling gear, utensils, plates, bowls, drinkware, kettle, French press, single burner cook stove, gravity fed outdoor sink, hammock, fire pit & chairs with a beautiful fall/winter valley & river view. The bathhouse is close by with 2 private baths and hot showers. This glampsite is located 150 yards uphill from the river.

Eagle's Landing
This completely off-grid tiny home equipped with its own solar power system has a queen futon with a queen bed in the loft. Kitchenette is stocked with a Keurig and coffee, microwave, mini-fridge, Coleman single burner cook stove, cookware, cutting board, utensils, grilling utensils, plates, bowls, drinkware, towels & linens, 4 Adirondack chairs, outdoor cooking area, charcoal grill, Blackstone, gravity fed water for washing, firepit, A/C, heated. Steps away from the bathhouse that includes 2 individual private baths with composting toilets and off-grid hot showers. Located on the South Fork Spring River with an amazing view.
